Ben Biscocho (he/him), Vice President, Operations

Ben has over a decade of experience working at the intersection of organizational management, public affairs, and communications. Ben’s unique background has allowed him the opportunity to lead complex statewide communications programs, develop management solutions for mission-driven institutions, and advocate for important local initiatives and campaigns.

Prior to joining Sunstone, Ben was the Director of Community Engagement and Public Affairs for LifeMoves, one of the largest providers of shelter and services for people experiencing homelessness in the Bay Area. Ben was also vice president for a Bay Area-based strategic communications agency and deputy director for FilAm Arts whose mission is to advance the cultural heritage of Filipinos in the United States.

Ben holds a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco. He is also an alumnus of AmeriCorps' Public Allies apprenticeship and the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs.

Ben was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area but has lived across the country with stints in Honolulu, Pittsburgh and Los Angeles.
