Aisha Khan (she/her), Digital Content Director

Aisha manages Sunstone’s design team and works closely with Sunstone’s campaign staff to build out out digital strategy and visual storytelling campaigns. She has built a high-performing creative program that delivers paid advertising materials, influencer campaigns, videos, and websites that strengthen our partners’ narrative power and advance policy wins across states.

Her leadership has been central to major campaigns including Big Oil is Slick, Don’t Slip CA, a statewide effort calling attention to big oil influence that reached millions of Californians, achieved standout engagement across CTV, radio, podcasts, and programmatic display, and helped draw policymaker attention. She also led creative strategy for the Bad Neighbors campaign, elevating frontline community stories and laying the groundwork for policy that will close the Inglewood Oil Field in coming years through cutting-edge digital advertising, outdoor media, and guerilla marketing activations.

Prior to Sunstone, Aisha ran digital campaigns in Washington, DC for End Citizens United, Let America Vote, and others. Her work helped mobilize voters and drive measurable increases in digital engagement among underrepresented communities.

She loves spending time with her dogs, hiking, searching for the best Thai food in town, traveling, and listening to live music. She is a creative at heart and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
